Iron sulfate is used for the silvering of exterior wood surfaces and as an ingredient in the manufacturing of Nordic Red Paint.

(makes 10 litres of paint):
8 l water
0,6 kg iron sulfate

1,6 kg earth pigment such as red iron oxide

Please note

We do not take responsibility for the quality of home made paints. If you are in doubt, we recommend purchasing ready made paint.

Iron sulfate treatment cannot be made on surfaces that have previously been painted, impregnated or oiled. It is suited to clean, untreated wood only.

Since iron sulfate is not a ready made product or surface treatment agent, we do not take responsibility for the results of the use of iron sulfate. If in doubt, we recommend using our paints or other surface treatment products instead.
