Uula Anti-Mould Agent – For the prevention of mildew, mould and algae<\/h1>\n

Uula Anti-Mould Agent is a ready-to-use biocide-based solution for exterior cleaning and disinfection. The Anti-Mould Agent acts as a preventative primer slowing down the growth of potential mould, mildew and algae. Surfaces treated with Anti-Mould Agent can be treated with all types of paints and surface treatment products.<\/p>\n

Use:<\/strong> Painted or unpainted wooden, stone and plastered exterior surfaces.
\nCoverage:<\/strong> Rough sawn surfaces approx. 4-5m2<\/sup>\/ litre. Smooth planed surfaces approx. 7-8m2<\/sup>\/ litre.
\nDrying time:<\/strong> Approximately 1 hour. May be painted over in approximately 24 hours, once the surface has thoroughly dried.<\/p>\n

Mould on exterior surfaces<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mould thrives in damp and warm conditions, and rainy autumns and mild winters increase the risk of microbial growth on exterior surfaces. The relative air humidity during warm winters is significantly higher compared to continuous below zero weather. In addition, the risk of mould growth is increased by industrial drying of timber, as well as felling timber at the wrong time of year.<\/p>\n

The occurrence and living conditions of mould vary between neighbouring houses and even between different parts of the house. Eaves and open porches develop mould easier than walls due to poorer air circulation. Trees and shrubs near the house increase the likelihood of mould growth.<\/p>\n

Mould growth on external surfaces of buildings is to do with climatic conditions and is not caused by the paint itself. This type of mould is superficial, results purely in aesthetic harm and can easily be washed off with Uula Mould Wash.<\/p>\n
